📌 How to Use Pratikpen

✔️ Correct Pen Orientation

• The “Pratikpen” text on the handle should face upward while writing.

• Nib channels must stay on top for proper ink flow.

• Pens can also be used from both sides for different stroke effects.

✔️ Compatible Inks

Recommended:

• Water-based inks

• Thin / diluted inks with fluid consistency

Not recommended:

• Thick acrylic paints (may clog channels unless thoroughly cleaned)

⚠️ Troubleshooting

If the pen isn't writing:

• Ensure both metal plates meet evenly

• Adjust the lower plate gently if one sits ahead

If the nib scratches the paper:

• Write 4–5 strokes on 1000–2000 grit sandpaper

• Repeat until smooth

If ink lines merge:

• Remove excess ink from the nib channels before writing

🧼 Cleaning Instructions

• Clean inside and outside of the nib with water and a soft toothbrush after each use

• Dry with a cloth or paper towel
